Nandi Baldwin - Laguna Education Foundation

 

The Laguna Education Foundation actively explores the unique educational needs of native people and seeks to provide the necessary resources to support life long learning opportunities for tribal members of Laguna Pueblo.

 


Miriam Esparza - Enlace Comunitario

 

Enlace Comunitario promotes systemic change, and the empowerment and participation of the Latino immigrant community in the process of that change.  Enlace Comunitario works with Latino immigrants to eliminate domestic violence and strengthen their community.

 

 


Shayna Lewis - Youthworks!

 

!YouthWorks! is a non-profit dedicated to addressing the need for effective youth development, youth employment programs, and youth leadership in the Santa Fe area.

 

 


Cornelius Mackey - Southwest Youth Services

 

Southwest Youth Services provides positive youth development programming through educational, health & wellness and youth leadership components in partnership with American Indian communities and organizations.

 


Matthew Martinez - Native American Community Academy

The Native American Community Academy (NACA) mission and goals support a school environment that promote students’ academic, social, emotional success while preparing students for college, life, leadership within their community by drawing upon strengths of language and culture.

 

 


Kenneth Montoya - Youthworks!

 

!YouthWorks! is a non-profit dedicated to addressing the need for effective youth development, youth employment programs, and youth leadership in the Santa Fe area.

 


India Nixon - South Valley Academy

South Valley Academy is a public charter high school located in the heart of Albuquerque’s South Valley. Our mission is to prepare young people to become lifelong learners in a small school setting.

 

 


Edgar Ortiz - Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority

The mission of the Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority is to improve the living environment in the City of Santa Fe by creating and sustaining safe, decent and affordable housing that fosters stability and increased self-sufficiency for people with low-incomes.

 

 


Elisa G. Pintor - El Centro

El Centro works with Latino immigrants and allies to advance immigrant’s rights. We envision a city, state, and a nation where immigrants can become a collective, conscious, free and powerful force dedicated to the promotion of human rights.

 

 


Jonathan Riley - Southwest Youth Services

Southwest Youth Services provides positive youth development programming through educational, health & wellness and youth leadership components in partnership with American Indian communities and organizations.

 

 


Donna Romero - Dragon Farm

Dragon Farm serves as an educational model of sustainability for the students at South Valley Academy as well as the people of the community. Dragon Farm educates students and community members on how to empower themselves by living a sustainable way of life.
