Program Manager, Forum Allies/Public Allies

E. Celestina Garcia is the Program Manager of the Forum Public Allies, a new partnership between NMFYC and Public Allies focused on advancing youth leadership in New Mexico. The Forum Public Allies (FPA) are 15 individuals committed to community development, integrity, self-discipline, dependability, perseverance, conscientiousness, and a strong work ethic. FPA’s will work within a partner organization to support and develop an understanding of the non-profit sector, attend regular leadership and skill building trainings, and develop a service and learning project over a ten-month period.

Ms. Garcia is a graduate of the University of New Mexico where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations. In 2004, she earned her Masters of Education degree and Full Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential from Claremont Graduate University, California.
