Transitions

5th Annual Youth Practitioners Summit
December 5-7, 2007
Albuquerque Convention Center
Join youth practitioners from across the state as we
explore innovative ways to support successful
transitions
for New Mexico youth. These include the transitions
from home to school; from school to community;
across ages and stages; from the margins to the
center; and, of course, from deficits to assets.
This year’s Summit will again feature presentations
and interactive workshops led by New Mexico youth
practitioners, including “youthful” youth
practitioners, local and national leaders. Add your
booth to our Exhibitors Pavilion highlighting
positive youth and community development resources
for New Mexico.
Download a preliminary
AGENDA
of the Summit, and make your plans. On Wednesday
afternoon, we will be offering free space at the
convention center for statewide network meetings. If
your network would like to meet, please complete and
return a
NETWORK MEETING REQUEST
form. You can also submit
WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
or reserve a
TABLE SPACE
to showcase your program or services.
Featuring the Youth Multi-Media Team.
We are again inviting young people and adults who
work with them to enrich and capture the 2007 Annual
Youth Practitioners Summit through live and taped
interviews, video story-telling, pod-casting,
“street” performances of poetry, dance, and drama,
and a gallery of visual artwork. If you are
interested in joining this team, please contact
Wendy at
wendy@nmforumforyouth.org or call 821-3574.
